Introduction
What Vacarme does and how to get started.
Vacarme is an AI double that handles your communication: it writes, searches and posts as you, on LinkedIn, forums, in outreach or market research — everywhere you need to show up. You stay in control, it does the work.
This documentation covers three things:
Install the app
Vacarme is a desktop app (macOS, with Windows and Linux coming soon). Download it from vacarme.ai, install it, then create an account or sign in.
Vacarme works from your own computer: in your own Chrome, through the Vacarme extension, for the sites you are signed in to, and in a visible built-in browser for public research. Nothing goes through a remote server. To install the extension, see Chrome extension.
First-time setup
On first launch, the app walks you through a multi-step journey: language, brand, Chrome extension, your AI, tone of voice, accounts to connect. See First-time setup for the details of each step, and Connect your AI to plug in your API key.
You can resume this journey later from Settings if you want to add a brand or revisit your setup.
