Tasks

How a task runs — modes and frequency.

A task is a concrete action that Vacarme carries out: publishing a post, sending outreach messages, doing research, replying to comments... The full catalogue lists everything that's available.

Modes: auto or review

Every task runs in one of these two modes:

Review
The agent prepares the content or action, then waits for your explicit approval before publishing, sending or commenting on anything. This is the default mode for anything publicly visible.
Auto
The agent runs with no approval step. Reserved for tasks with no publishing risk — monitoring, research, account prep — never for tasks that post on your behalf without you explicitly choosing to.

You can change a task's mode individually, independent of the task type's default setting.

Frequency

A task can run:

  • Once: a single pass, then it's done.
  • Daily: runs again every day.
  • Weekly: runs again every week.

A one-off task can be turned into a recurring task afterwards, from its detail view.

Pause and resume

A task can be paused — manually, or automatically if it needs your input (a login to redo, a captcha to solve). Paused tasks can be resumed with one click, including all of them at once from chat.
